More Easter decorations

New felt decorations for Easter. We kept only one, the others were dispatched in various households and I hope they were appreciated :)

I just love sewing with felt. Possibilities are infinite!

Felt food again and again

Those were not for my own children, but presents for others. Need to get on making fruits, desserts and bread for my babies though! They are seriously lacking that type of food ;)

Pompons fun!

I love pompons, especially since I have realised that I had always been making them with too little yarn. Now I use loads and they are nice and fluffy. We tested a little chick for Easter, and several bunnies (found the idea on some felted wool tutorial).

I particularly like the bunnies and I rather like the final result of the pot with a small touch of lace. It gives it a bit of a vintage look.
What do you think?

Painting eggs

This year was the first year T. participated in decorating eggs. He seemed to rather like it :) His sister was just as inspired as the year before and was rather efficient. We decorated the eggs with a friend and her little girl, together with this friend, N. got into decorating two eggs at a time, putting a LARGE amount of paint on her hands and then rolling the eggs on a stick... it created a very interesting effect once the paint was dry.

T.'s very first decorated egg! Hard-boiled so we ate it afterwards though.

Traveling toys: cars

Soon we are going on holiday, I will not be packing many toys, just a few. This is one of them. One of my "traveling toys", this one is usually in the children's church bag and thanks to it T. has made a new friend :)

So far the children have not really used the road I've made, they prefer to drive freely around. Maybe later on when they are older.
